Tattoo machines have two binding posts; both act as connecting points for the machine's electrical components. The top binding post has a secondary vital purpose as the housing for the contact point screw. The back binding post is the positive connector for the clipcord.
There are two types of back binding posts, for two different styles of machine frame. Vertical back binding posts are upright mounted to the frame base of the machine. Horizontal back binding posts are side mounted through the back upright or side plate of the machine. All Eikon back binding posts come complete with mounting screw, washer, insulating washers and solder lugs.
